Rules
Participants will compete in the South Arena.
They will stand at a line and propel with their mouth a
salted sunflower seed at a line that is a set distance away.
Sunflower seeds will be provided for each individual
participating.
There will be five age class categories 5-11, 12-19, 20-35,
36-55 and 56+. There will also be a Celebrity Class.
The closer of two tries by each spitter in the preliminary
round will used to determine advancement into the
Championship round.
The three most accurate spitters in each class will come
back for a Championship spit off. Advancing spitters will
get one try each in the Championship round and the same if
they advance to the Grand Champion round.
The Champions of each class will compete against each other
for the title of the Grand Champion Sunflower Seed Spitter
of Johnson County. |
