JCAA is a
non-profit organization that puts on the Johnson County Fair
every summer the last full week of July. Besides doing the
fair, we rent the buildings, grounds and barns during the
summer. All the buildings can be used for many different
types of events. Meetings, wedding receptions, company
picnics, dog shows, circus or rodeo, training sessions,
antique shows, parties, graduations, benefits. We also have
vehicle storage in our barns from Oct. 1-May 1.

Office Building
JCAA has an office building on the fairgrounds that has
recently been vacated. We are looking for a business/company
that would work well with the fairground lifestyle. The
building is 4500 square feet with ample parking. There are
presently 17 private offices (10X12), a large lobby area,
one large conference room with a break room, two restrooms,
and lots of storage.
It would be possible for you to remove non-load bearing
walls and change the building to suit your needs. We would
prefer a single renter but would consider renting a wing of
the building or single office spaces. The ideal situation
would be a non-profit organization, similar to ourselves.
JCAA
will mow the grass and remove snow in the winter. The office
building is easily accessible from Highway 218 and Iowa
City.
